PNZA is pleased to announce that Club/Playing Group/Commercial Pickleball Facility affiliation is now open, providing organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand with the opportunity to become part of the national network growing and strengthening Pickleball.
Affiliation is more than a membership, it is a partnership that connects Clubs/Playing Groups/Commercial Pickleball Facilities with the recognised national body for Pickleball, providing access to governance resources, development pathways, funding support, national advocacy, event opportunities, and practical tools to help volunteers build sustainable and successful organisations.
Affiliated Clubs/Playing Groups/Commercial Pickleball Facilities benefit from promotion through the PNZA website and communication channels, access to policies templates, guidance on governance and integrity, support with funding and facility advocacy. Affiliated members benefit through PNZA membership, eligibility for PNZA-endorsed events, pathways for development, national representation.
To support the wide variety of operating models across Aotearoa New Zealand, Clubs/Playing Groups/Commercial Pickleball Facilities may choose to implement Hello Club for their membership management with a discount off the annual membership fee. Organisations can choose to use alternative systems can continue to do so by providing membership information to PNZA as required.
As Pickleball continues to experience rapid growth throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, affiliation helps ensure the sport develops with consistent standards, strong governance, and a unified national voice.
